No. 21 Men's Golf Competes in First Two Rounds at Ben Hogan Collegiate

FORT WORTH, Texas - Pepperdine men's golf is through the opening two rounds at the Ben Hogen Collegiate Invitational, presented by Charles Schwab.

The Waves sit in 14th place out of 16, shooting 24-over as a squad.

Freshman Luke Ringkamp paces the Waves at five-over, burying a couple of birdies in each round to tie for 44th overall.

Carson Kim is just two strokes back at seven-over, having carded a trio of birdies in round two. The highlight of the day for the senior was a beautiful eagle on 18 in the opening round.

Ayden Fynaut tallied three birdies in the first round before tacking on an eagle and two more birdies in round two to get to eight-over.

Kailer Stone is tied for 67th overall at nine-over, and Willy Walsh rounded out the Pepperdine lineup by registering 10-over.

Round three starts at 5:48am Pacific tomorrow morning, but Pepperdine will be among the last waves to tee off. Willy Walsh will get the blue and orange going at 6:48am, followed by Stone (7:00), Fynaut (7:12), Kim (7:24), and Ringkamp (7:36).
