No. 21 Men’s Golf Wraps Up Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational

FORT WORTH, Texas — No. 21 Pepperdine men's golf concluded the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invitational Tuesday from Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.
The Waves had the low-round of the day in the field of 16 teams, shooting 4-over par to finish the tournament 28-over. Pepperdine finished 13th on the team leaderboard in the challenging field which featured six of the eight teams who advanced to match play at the 2026 NCAA Championships.
Pepperdine finished the tournament strong as one of just three teams to post a 6-over or better team score in both the second and third rounds.Â
Alabama claimed the team title with an even par mark on the week while Texas Tech's Adam Bresnu took home medalist honors at 7-under.Â
Carson Kim carded the lone bogey-free round in the field in the final round, finishing with a 1-under 69. Kim was one of just seven rounds on the day below par and improved each round across the week (75-72-69) to finish 6-over. He paced the Waves with a 26th-place individual finish.
Kailer Stone also lowered his score in each successive round on the week, posting an even par-70 in today's final round. After beginning on the 10th hole, Stone carded three birdies on the front nine today after making the turn at 1-over to finish the day even. He placed 45th at 9-over (77-72-70) for the tournament.
Ayden Fynaut also logged a 9-over (78-70-71) mark on the week to finish 45th. The freshman posted a 1-over 71 to conclude the tournament today, collecting three birdies along the way.
Willy Walsh rounded out the Pepperdine scoring group today with a 74, rebounding from a 40 on the back nine to finish with a 1-under 34 on the front nine. Walsh finished the tournament at 14-over (73-77-74).Â
Luke Ringkamp came in with a 78 (+8) in the final round, finishing the week at 13-over par (72-72-78).

The Waves will play their final fall tournament next at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational, set for Oct. 16-18 from the Golf Club of Georgia. Pepperdine finished fourth at the event this past fall.
