Catching Up with Barry Enright

MALIBU, Calif. - Waves baseball is a storied program with 17 West Coast Conference titles and a history of placing players at the next level in the major leagues. The Waves have had 32 major leaguers to date, one being pitcher Barry Enright. Enright was drafted in the second round of the 2007 MLB Amateur Draft by the Arizona Diamondbacks and made his major league debut on June 30, 2010 agaist St. Louis.
Enright was a standout player for the Waves from 2005-07, racking up countless accolades, including being named WCC Freshman of the Year in 2005, Pitcher of the Year in 2006 and was a Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball All-American in 2005. He is also a two-time All-WCC selection.
We caught up with Enright when he came back to Eddy D. Field Stadium for the annual alumni game in February. Check out the interview below:
