Three Waves Earn MPSF All-Academic Honors

MALIBU, Calif. - The Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) honored 37 student-athletes from nine universities, including three from Pepperdine, Wednesday when executive director Al Beaird announced the All-Academic conference team.
From Pepperdine, outside hitters Jon Grobe and J.D. Schleppenbach were joined by setter Jonathan Winder.
Winder, was also tabbed Player of the Year in 2007 by the American Coaches Volleyball Association as well as the MPSF.
Pepperdine advanced to the NCAA Championship tournament for the 14th time in program history as a result of its 25-1 regular-season record before ending the year at 26-3.
