Korrin Wild

Head Coach Scott Wong announced the hiring of Korrin Wild to the sidelines as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator in February 2023.

Wild had spent the last nine years on the collegiate and club sidelines in various capacities, though prior to joining the coaching side of the game, she played professionally for one of the top Division I club teams in France.

Most recently since 2019, Wild had served as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Nevada, Reno women’s volleyball team.  She was promoted to associate head coach in 2020.  Throughout that time, she worked as the program’s lead for donor relations and fundraising, while managing individual player development.  She also directed national searches for future student-athletes, having implemented an internal tracking database, while also planning and arranging all team travel, monitoring all NCAA rules and regulations, managing community outreach and serving as the video coordinator.

Prior to that, Wild was an assistant coach at Seattle Pacific from 2017-19.  She was the assistant recruiting coordinator and assisted in player development and practice planning.  She also served as the statistician, technical and video coordinator, among other things.

From 2015-17, she served as the Director of Volleyball Operations for Fresno State, with a brief stint as interim assistant coach.  During her tenure, she managed the volleyball program’s operational budget, served as the Data Volley statistician and assistant video coordinator, was responsible for tracking NCAA CARA hours and planned and arranged all team travel.

Before joining the coaching sidelines, Wild played for one of the top Division I club teams in France with the Vannes Volleyball Club.  She also interned at the Fresno Convention and Entertainment Center, completing a 12-week summer internship developing skills in event and staff management.

Wild graduated from Fresno State in 2013 and was ranked among the program’s top 10 all-time for kills, digs, aces and sets played.  She was an All-Mountain West first teamer in 2013 and received second team recognition in 2011.
