Women's Volleyball Visits CSUN for Exhibition Match

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Pepperdine women's volleyball is set for its lone exhibition match of the season at CSUN, which is set for Saturday at 1:00 pm PT.

All-time, Pepperdine is 15-4 against the Matadors. The blue and orange haven't battled CSUN in the regular season since September 2, 2018 (a 3-1 victory for the Waves), and Saturday's match will mark the first known time since then that the two teams will meet on the hardwood.
Pepperdine returns many key starters from last year's squad, including middle blocker Ella Piskorz, Irelynd Lorenzen, Tristen Raymond, Laine Briggs, and Chloe Pravednikov. Lorenzen is coming off a junior season in which she was 4th in the WCC with 119 blocks, while Briggs had 391 digs, which ranked 4th in the conference. Pravednikov, Piskorz, and Raymond were recently selected to the WCC Preseason Team, while the Waves were picked to finish second (one first-place vote).
