GEORGIA TECH: Competed for Georgia Tech from 2021-25 ... Had most of his success in indoor track, where he was a three-time ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships qualifier in the 800 meters, and a fixture on the 4x400 and distance medley relays ... Collegiate personal bests include 49.60 seconds in the outdoor 400 meters, 50.09 seconds in the indoor 400 meters, 1:49.56 in the outdoor 800 meters, 1:50.12 in the indoor 800 meters and 4:03.67 in the 1,500 meters ... Best result at ACCs was finishing 10th in the 800 meters with a collegiate-best time of 1:50.12 in 2023.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Harrison High School, located in Kennesaw, Ga., in 2021 ... Left high school with three school records and the GHSA 7A state record in the 800 meters ... Won a state title in the 800 meters as a senior ... Led off Harrison's runner-up 4x800-meter relay team at the state meet ... Also competed in the 4x400-meter relay at the state meet as a senior ... Helped Harrison take third as a team at state ... At one point, was top 25 nationally in the indoor 800-meter dash ... Also lettered in football.

CLUB: Competed for the Marietta Track Club for one season.

PERSONAL: Born in Springfield, Mo. ... Son of Amber and Andrew Buchheit ... Has one sister, Addison ...
