HIGH SCHOOL: Played three varsity seasons at Fountain Hills High School under head coach Mike Briguglio, graduating in 2014 ââ'¬¦ Compiled 302 career strikeouts ââ'¬¦ Named All-State first team as a sophomore and junior ââ'¬¦ Named All-Section as a senior ââ'¬¦ Set a school record with 16 strikeouts in a game ââ'¬¦ Team won a state championship in 2013 ââ'¬¦ Named a scholar athlete ââ'¬¦ Also played football.
CLUB: Played for the Arizona Athletics from 2013-14.
PERSONAL: Born in Chandler, Ariz. to Randy and Kristin Wojtysiak ââ'¬¦ Has one brother, Alex, and one sister, Amy ââ'¬¦ Plans to major in advertising ââ'¬¦ Chose Pepperdine because, "I loved campus views, great academics and a top baseball program."
