HIGH SCHOOL: Played three years of varsity at Irvington High School in Fremont, Calif. under coach Denny Martinez … During his senior year, compiled a .297 batting average, a .430 OBP, eight RBI, and one home run… Named to the Mission Valley Athletic League first team as a catcher.

CLUB: Played for Turn 2 Baseball, Trosky Baseball, and the South Bay Legacy… Won the Palomino World Series in 2015 with the South Bay Legacy.

PERSONAL: Born Jacob Cole Doty to Tricia Dallahan… Has two siblings, Kayla and Sean … Would like to become a CEO of his own company after graduating from Pepperdine with a business degree … Chose Pepperdine because of the “Great baseball, good education, and good location.”
