Euper has been nothing short of incredible for the Waves this season. The southpaw, who made his first three appearances of the campaign out of the bullpen, has been lighting it up recently. He's gone at least six innings in his last five starts, winning three of them. The Irvine, California native is tied for third in the West Coast Conference in ERA (2.91) and is tied for the 10th-most innings pitched (58.2). Euper's 49 strikeouts tie for the 13th-most in the conference and has the 15th-highest strikeouts per nine innings (7.52). Only a sophomore, Euper hasn't given up more than three earned runs in his last six starts and has pushed at least a mid-90s pitch count in three consecutive starts. He's been solid against right-handed batters this season (.229 BAA) while holding opponents to a dominant .198 average with at least one runner on base.

His counterpart on Friday, Will Labonte, will make his 13th start of the season. The right-handed freshman from Montreal, Quebec has a solid .224 BABIP (expected batting average on balls put in play). He's recorded at least five innings in all but two of his starts, having gone exactly six innings in five of his last six starts. While Labonte has improved in the walks department throughout the season, he's surrendered six hits to opponents in three of his last four outings, and the Pilots have coincidentally lost all three of those contests. It's already our last home series of the season 😮
