Women’s Basketball Sees Three Named to All-WCC Teams

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Pepperdine women's basketball (19-11, 10-8 WCC) had three players named across the all-conference teams for the first time since 2009.
Elli Guiney, who leads the team in points per game, notched the Waves' first all-WCC first team selection since 2020. The sophomore is currently tied for 5th all-time in program history for most threes in a single season (59) with at least one more game guaranteed in the season.
Lina Falk and Meghan Fiso were named to the All-WCC honorable mentions list. The duo are in the top 25 of the conference in points per game. The trio of Guiney, Falk, and Fiso are the three averaging double digits for the Waves, combining for over 37 points a game.
Heading into the postseason this week, Pepperdine travels to the Orleans Arena for the West Coast Conference tournament in Las Vegas, Nev.. The Waves will learn their opponent Friday afternoon, with the options of San Francisco, Saint Mary's or San Diego.
