Women’s Basketball Announces Non-Conference Schedule

MALIBU, Calif. – Pepperdine women's basketball has unveiled its 2026-27 non-conference schedule, announced today by head coach Katie Faulkner.
The 13-game slate leading into West Coast Conference play features seven home games in Malibu, with three coming from Firestone Fieldhouse before the opening of the Mountain at Mullin Park which sees the Waves host Boise State Dec. 6 for its first contest in the new arena.
Pepperdine will also host Azusa Pacific for an exhibition on Oct. 28 prior to the season's official tip-off.
The Waves will begin the season on the road, taking on Portland State on Monday, Nov. 2, before returning to Malibu for three straight home games. The homestand begins against UC Santa Barbara on Nov. 5 and continues with Cal State Dominguez Hills on Nov. 10. The final game for the women's program in Firestone Fieldhouse will be held Friday, Nov. 13, as the Waves host Princeton.
Pepperdine will then embark on a stretch of four consecutive road contests leading up to the Mountain opener. The Waves will visit Nevada on Tuesday, Nov. 17, before heading to Texas for back-to-back games against Rice on Sunday, Nov. 22, and Sam Houston State on Tuesday, Nov. 24.
Following the Thanksgiving break, Pepperdine will continue its road swing at San Jose State on Wednesday, Dec. 2.
The Waves will then return to Malibu for a historic matchup against Boise State on Sunday, Dec. 6, as the women's program plays its first game inside The Mountain at Mullin Park. The contest will mark the second day of The Mountain's opening weekend and officially mark the start of a new era for Pepperdine basketball.
Pepperdine will travel to Riverside to face California Baptist on Wednesday, Dec. 9, before returning home to play its final three non-conference games at The Mountain. The stretch includes hosting Utah Valley on Saturday, Dec. 12, Air Force on Friday, Dec. 18, and Hawaii on Sunday, Dec. 20.
The 13-game non-conference slate features opponents from eight different conferences and sends the Waves to three states outside California.
Season tickets for the 2026-27 Pepperdine women's basketball season are available for purchase here, giving fans their opportunity to be founding season ticket holders and secure seats for a historic season that will span the final games at Firestone Fieldhouse and the opening of The Mountain at Mullin Park. Season tickets begin as low as $75, offering access to every home game for less than $5 per game.

Pepperdine women's basketball has made four NCAA postseason appearances in its history, having won the WCC regular-season four times and the WCC Tournament on three occasions.
