Women's Volleyball Announces 2026 Class

MALIBU, Calif. - Pepperdine women's volleyball Head Coach Scott Wong announced this afternoon the 2026 class that will be joining the program in advance of the 2026 season.

The Waves are coming off an impressive 2025 campaign in which they finished 21-8 overall and 15-3 in conference play.
 
ELIYA DEV | FR. | BAKERSFIELD, CALIF. | LIBERTY HIGH SCHOOL
  • All-Area First Team for three seasons (sophomore through senior campaigns)
  • Defensive Player of the Year her senior season
  • Made the senior All-Star Game and won MVP of the contest
  • Made First Team at the USAV Nationals Tournament in the USA division during her sophomore year
Why Dev chose Pepperdine: "I chose Pepperdine because it embraces a community that inspires personal growth athletically, academic success, and growing in Faith."
 
Head Coach Scott Wong on Dev: "Eliyah will shore up our back row as she has the unique ability to cover a ton of ground in serve receive and in defense. If there are walls between her and the ball, she will go right through them."
 
ISABELLA RASI | FR. | LOOMIS, CALIF. | DEL ORO HIGH SCHOOL
  • Holds her high school's record in assists (over 3,000)
  • Played on the varsity squad all four years in high school
  • First-Team All-League all four years, including three conference MVPs
  • Made the JVA Watchlist from 2023-2025
  • Made the AVCA Phenom list from 2023-2025
  • Triple qualified with Synergy Force Volleyball Club in 2025
Why Rasi chose Pepperdine: "I chose Pepperdine because of the amazing volleyball team and coaching staff, along with the Christian atmosphere."
 
Head Coach Scott Wong on Rasi: "Bella brings more depth in the setting position as she will help us in our overall offensive development, but she also brings a aggressive serving and gritty defensive personality behind her game."

  • Surpassed 1,200 career kills

Why Poerner chose Pepperdine: "I chose Pepperdine because it felt like the complete package of a great school and a super competitive, high-level program!"
 
Head Coach Scott Wong on Poerner: "Reese is a talented outside hitter that can play the entire game at a high level, as she has over the last few years in Texas. I am excited about her calm that she will add to the team in addition to her overall volleyball IQ."

ABOUT PEPPERDINE WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
Pepperdine women's volleyball has reached 26 NCAA Tournaments since 1981 as one of the most successful collegiate programs on the West Coast. The 12-time WCC Champions Waves have consistently produced top talent with 21 All-American selections with honorees in six straight decades. With multiple Olympians going through the program, Kim Hill brought home the program's first gold medal at the 2020 Olympic Games.
