McMahon & Pravednikov Earn WCC Women's Volleyball All-Academic Team Honors; Three Waves Receive Honorable Mention

SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Pepperdine women's volleyball senior Emma McMahon and sophomore Chloe Pravednikov were named to the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team, announced today by the conference.

In addition, sophomores Maggie Beauer and Ella Piskorz, along with junior Brynne McGhie received WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention.

The Waves are one of three schools to have multiple athletes make the All-Academic Team, with Portland and Santa Clara.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team and in at least their second year at their school.
