MORAGA, Calif. - The last two regular season road matches have arrived for Pepperdine women's volleyball, as the Waves are set to battle Saint Mary's and Pacific this weekend.
Thursday's match is arguably the biggest of the campaign to date for the blue and orange, as Pepperdine looks to stave off Saint Mary's from at least holding the tiebreaker for the number two spot in the standings. Saint Mary's currently sits one game back of Pepperdine and LMU (the Waves have the head-to-head-tiebreaker). The Gaels and Waves met earlier this season and Saint Mary's got the best of Pepperdine, winning 3-1 at Firestone Fieldhouse.
On Saturday, the Waves will face a Pacific squad that, as of today, has dropped 17 consecutive matches and is 0-11 in WCC action.
