MALIBU, Calif. – Pepperdine women's soccer (4-4-1, 1-0) heads up to Seattle University (4-1-4, 0-1) for the first time ever in Saturday night's showdown against the Redhawks.
"It's going to be an incredibly difficult game,"

GAME NOTES

- Having 19 starts and six goals throughout her collegiate career entering this season, Murphy is on pace to double her offensive output.
- With the most minutes played outside of the goal, Peyton Leonard has played nearly every minute this season, averaging more than 87 minutes per match.
- Scoring three goals with four on-goal attempts, Leonard is an offensive threat inside the box.
- Garnering national awards, Leonard earned a spot on Top Drawer Soccer's Team of the Week earlier this season after a goal on a set piece against Columbia.
- Goalkeeper Jillian Medvecky has collected 35 saves this season, averaging just under four a match.
- Last season, Medvecky secured four shutouts with a goals against average of 1.10 per match.
SERIES HISTORY
- The two squads have only met one time in Malibu as the Waves take their first trip to Championship field.
- Pepperdine won the sole matchup between the two squads 1-0 back in 2009.
- This is Seattle's first year as a conference foe, previously a part of the Western Athletic Conference.
