FAIRFIELD, Calif. – The Pepperdine women's golf team finished the WCC Championship in 2nd at 7-over with a three-day total of 871 (289-290-292) at the Green Valley Country Club.
 
#50 Oregon State won the championship by two-strokes with a total of 869 (+5) and earned the automatic-bid to the NCAA Tournament. Santa Clara rounded out the top-three with a tournament score of 888 (+24).
 
Jeneath Wong led the Waves, finishing in 3rd at 3-under (213), and was one of only three players in the 30-player field to finish under par.
 
Additionally, Pepperdine had four golfers finish in the top-10 at the WCC Championship. Jeneath Wong took 3rd at 3-under, Grace Anderson and Lauren Gomez finished tied for 8th at 4-over, while Eunseo Choi ended the WCC Championship tied for 10th at 5-over.

• Junior Jeneath Wong (Melbourne, Australia) finished the WCC Tournament in 3rd at 3-under with a three-round score of 213 (69-74-70). Today, Wong shot a 2-under 70 with four birdies.
• Freshman Grace Anderson (Burlington, Ontario, Canada) ended the tournament tied for 8th after posting a 3-over 75 with two birdies in her final round. Anderson notched a three-day total of 220 (73-72-75) (+4).
• Senior Lauren Gomez (Murrieta, Calif.) collected one birdie during her even 72 in the final round. She also finished tied for 8th with a three-round score of 220 (76-72-72) (+4).
• Freshman Eunseo Choi (Auckland, New Zealand) carded a 3-over 75 with two birdies on Saturday. Choi finished the WCC Championship tied for 10th with a tournament total of 221 (74-72- 75) (+5).
• Junior Yingzhi Zhu (Nanjing, China) finished in 17th at 9-over with a total of 225 (73-75-77) at the WCC Championship. Zhu tallied a 5-over 77 on Saturday.
