MALIBU, Calif. — Pepperdine men's volleyball freshman, Grant Lamoureux was awarded USA Volleyball's Junior Player of the Year, as announced by USAV on Friday.

From Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Lamoureux  graduated from West Forsyth High School this winter and joined Pepperdine in January after serving as the captain for the U19 National Indoor Team this summer at the Norceca Continental Championship. After helping Team USA capture a gold medal at the games, Lamoureux was awarded Best Spiker at the Norceca Championship. He played for Triad United Volleyball Academy for seven years, becoming a two-time AAU All-American and three-time JVA All-American. In the sand, Lamoureux placed ninth at the 2024 Beach U19 World Championships and earned a North Carolina State Championship title during his sophomore year.

USA Volleyball will honor Lamoureux and other award-winners May 21, 2025, in Denver, Colo. at USAV's annual banquet. The celebration will recognize Hall of Fame inductees and annual award winners, highlighting their outstanding contributions to the sport.
