Moe Odum is set to join the Pepperdine men's basketball program for the 2024-25 season, head coach
Ed Schilling announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Moe Odum | 6'1 | PG | The Bronx, N.Y. | Pacific
Pacific's leader in the backcourt for the past two seasons, Odum averaged 7.2 points and four assists per game during his time in a Tigers' uniform. Throughout the 2023-24 season, The Bronx-native dished out a 4.6 assists per contest– good for third in the West Coast Conference– and his accuracy rating of 2.5 also put him third in the league. Defensively, Odum averaged 1.8 steals per game and led his team with 28 total snatches while playing in all 32 games last season.
"Moe is an experienced WCC guard," Schilling said. "He led the WCC in assist/turnover ratio as a freshman and this past season he ranked third in assists per game and assist/turnover ratio. His speed and quickness along with his knowledge of the league will be counted on greatly this coming season."
The opportunity to be around a staff that's been in the NBA or around the NBA for 10 plus years played a big part in me committing to Pepperdine," Odum said. "The main goal is to get to the tournament and I feel we will have a good chance in doing so with the team coming in this year. I'm most excited about meeting new people and bettering my education."
Odum joins fellow signees
Aaron Clark, Alonso Faure, Stefan Todorovic, Jayden Russotti and
Javon Cooley in Coach Schilling's inaugural recruiting class at Pepperdine.
