SAN DIEGO, Calif. — The Pepperdine track team completed the Triton Invitational, hosted by UC San Diego on Saturday.

Maddy Ortman highlighted the day by setting a personal record for both hurdle events she competed in. Shaving almost three-tenths of a second off her time in the 100-meter hurdles, replacing her seventh-fastest time in school history of 15.88 seconds. In the 400-meter hurdles, she shattered her record by over 1.5 seconds with a time of 1:06.73, good enough to move from ninth to fifth fastest in Pepperdine history.Â

Breaking into the program's top five rankings,
Isabella Reyes ran the 400-meter dash in a time of 58.08 seconds – landing her at the fourth fastest school time.

In the 100-meter dash,
Mia Skuraton took almost two-tenths of a second off her personal best, moving up two spots in the school rankings to eighth, running a 12.59 seconds.

Two Waves set top-10 times in the 800-meter dash.
Hannah Bruner ran the sixth-fastest 800-meter dash time in program history with a 2:17.13, while
Caroline Graham finished right behind at 2:18.00, giving her the ninth-fastest time at Pepperdine.
