LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Pepperdine track team set personal records and ran new top-10 times at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival, held at UCLA Friday evening.
The day began with
Caroline Graham running for the ninth-fastest 1,500-meter run time in program history with a 4:47.23.
Kaleb McElfish set a personal best in the 1,500-meter run on the men's side, shaving just under half a second off his time running a 3:55.56, good for the fourth fastest record in school history.
Ryan Fabian finished right behind him with a 3:55.91 — the fifth-fastest time in program history..
Dominic Silhol finished second amongst all runners in the 5,000-meter run with a 15:05.72. The night finished off with
Johnathan Flint setting a personal record in the 10,000-meter run. Flint ran a 30:19.22, erasing .28 from his previous record and improving the second-fastest time in Pepperdine history.
UP NEXT: The men's and women's track team is back at UCLA for the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational with the first event set to begin at 1 p.m. tomorrow.
