ST GEORGE, Utah – Pepperdine's swimmers posted great results at day three of the MPSF Championships as one school record was broken and four Waves either improved their spot or earned spots on the programs all-time top-10 performance list.

PRELIMS
In the 100 fly,
Charli Sunahara (Chino, Calif.) clocked a time of 56.74, good for fourth all-time in program history.
Lexie Deitemeyer (Golden, Colo.) also notched a time of 57.38 in the event, which puts her seventh all-time in Waves history.
In the 400 IM
AJ Adams (Castle Rock, Colo.) posted a time of 4:28.38 to move her into third all-time in the Pepperdine record books. She also finished in 10th in the prelims and qualified for the finals later in the evening.
Syd Abild (Holyoke, Mass.) swam the 100 breast in 1:04.82 which puts her eighth all-time in program history.
Kylie Taylor (Eugene, Ore.) finished the 100 back in 55.53, which set a new school record and earned her a spot in the finals. Also, in the 100 back,
Tay Thomas (Pleasant Hill, Calif.) clocked a time of 57.44, which put her seventh all-time in school history.
FINALS
Abild completed the 100 breast in the consolation final with a career-best time of 1:04.65 and improved her time earlier in the day as she still sits eighth all-time in the Pepperdine record books.
In the 100 back, Taylor earned a seventh-place finish and All-MPSF second team honors as she swam the event in 55.57.
The Waves also competed in the 400 medley relay. The group of Taylor, Abild, Sunahara and Browne took seventh as they posted a time of 3:47.44.

Pepperdine's swimmers will finish the MPSF Championships tomorrow morning with prelims set to begin at 9 a.m. PT and finals to follow at 5 p.m. PT in St. George, Utah. In between the prelims and the finals, the 1650 free will commence at 1 p.m. PT.
