MALIBU, Calif.  – Tori Waldeck and Tatum Wynalda of the Pepperdine women's soccer team have been picked as All-West Coast Conference performers, as the conference announced its preseason coaches polls today.
 
A vote of the league's coaches had Pepperdine picked to finish third in the WCC behind Santa Clara and Portland.
 
Waldeck (Newhall, Calif./Hart HS) and Wynalda (Thousand Oaks, Calif./Westlake HS) have both already been named to either the All-WCC first or second team.
 
Waldeck, a senior midfielder/forward, garnered All-WCC second team and WCC All-Freshman honors during the 2020 season, and was an All-WCC first team selection in the 2021 season. Waldeck ranked 10th in points per game (0.92) in the WCC and tied for 10th in goals per game (0.33) last season.
 
Wynalda, a sophomore midfielder/forward, earned WCC All-Freshman and All-WCC second team honors last season. Wynalda was the second-leading scorer on the squad with eight goals and had one assist for 17 points.
 
The Waves finished the 2022 season with a 9-4-5 overall record and tied for fifth place in the WCC at 3-3-3.
