LAST GAME: In the final three-game homestand for the Waves, Pepperdine fell 3-0 to LMU in the series.

In game one, the Lions earned an 8-3 victory over the Waves. The Waves fell behind early to the Lions 3-0 after the first inning, and tried to climb back, but the LMU pitcher was tough to get around as he shut down the squad in six of his eight innings pitched. Connor Bradshaw was 2-for-3 and had one RBI. Bradshaw hit his first triple of the season. Jack Basseer, Charles Masino and Grant Schoen all had two hits apiece.

In game two, Pepperdine fell 10-0 to LMU. The Waves and Lions were scoreless after the first two innings, but LMU broke it open in the top of the third and never let up. Connor Bradshaw had another two-hit day. John Peck had one hit.

In the series finale, the Waves fell 4-2 to LMU. The Waves and Lions were tied after the fifth inning, but LMU plated the go-ahead run in the top of the sixth and grabbed an insurance run in the top of the ninth to secure the series victory. Jack Basseer was 2-for-3 including crossing the plate once for the Waves.
Basseer had the squad's only double. John Peck was 2-for-4. Ryan Johnson hit his 17th home run of the season. Nick Bonn got his first collegiate start throwing a career-high 5.0 innings. Bonn only allowed three hits and sat down two Lions.

RECORD WATCHIN': Ryan Johnson currently has 36 career home runs and is currently in sole possession of third on the Pepperdine career all-time list. The current school record in career home runs is 45 and held by Dane Sardinha (1998-00). On the season, Johnson has hit 17 home runs and is now tied for third on the all-time single season list with Ruben Gonzalez (1987), Dane Sardinia (2000) and former teammate Billy Cook (2021).

HONORS: Ryan Johnson notched the season's first West Coast Conference weekly honors for the Pepperdine baseball team when he was named Player of the Week on March 6. In four appearances last week, Johnson only had two strikeouts and scored seven runs. He ended the week with five homers and a double.

Shane Telfer earned the second West Coast Conference weekly honors for Pepperdine as he was named the Pitcher of the Week on March 27. He threw 6.0 scoreless innings against Gonzaga in the series-opening 15-0 victor en route to his third win of the season. Telfer held the Bulldogs to only two hits and five walks, while earning eight strikeouts, two shy from his career-high.

John Peck collected the third West Coast Conference weekly honors for the Waves being named Player of the Week on April 10. In four games, Peck batted a .550, had a slugging percentage of .850 and helped Pepperdine go 3-1 last week. On April 4 against Cal Poly, Peck was 3-for-5 including a double and two triples. In game one of the WCC series against Saint Mary's, Peck was 4-for-5 and scored three runs for the Waves. He also had two hits in game two, brought in two runs and stole a base against the Gaels.
