MALIBU, Calif. — For the third-consecutive year, the Pepperdine men's golf team will head to the state of Georgia to compete at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate.

EVENT INFO — The tournament will be held at the par-72, 7,092-yard Lakeside Course at the Golf Club of Georgia in Alpharetta, Georgia.  There will be 18 holes of golf each day between Friday and Sunday (Oct. 13-15).  Live scoring will be available via Golfstat.

WAVES X GOLF CLUB OF GEORGIA COLLEGIATE — This will be the fourth time Pepperdine has competed at this specific event and the Waves have either won the tournament or finished second in each of those years.  Pepperdine began in 2019 with a second-place finish, before winning in 2021.  Joe Highsmith was the medalist in 2021 as well.  Last year, the squad tied for second.

The field has six teams that played in the NCAA Championship last season, including three that advanced to match play - Pepperdine, Georgia Tech and Virginia.  Twelve teams played in NCAA regionals.

LAST TIME OUT — At the beginning of the month, the Waves competed at the Ben Hogan Collegiate Invite, finishing 14th out of 15 teams.  The three sophomores led the team's individual scoring, with Brady Siravo finishing tied for 40th with a 215 and one round under par. Joshua Koo and Mahanth Chirravuri finished tied for 43rd and 48th respectively and each also tabbed one under-par round.  William Walsh finished tied for 66th to round out the Waves' scoring.
