RECAP
The Waves saw little resistance from the Gaels beginning in doubles play. The #62 pair of Adrian Oetzbach and Guy Den Ouden won the race first, going 6-1 over James Watt and Boris Reckow on court one. Tim Zeitvogel and Corrado Summaria soon followed at the same score, besting Damon Kesaria and Fabian Roensdorf on court two. Court three was on its way to a win before the first two courts clinched, as Pietro Fellin and Daniel De Jonge left their match unfinished at 5-1.

In singles, the first Waves win was awarded to Summaria on court five, seeing a 6-2, 6-1 demolishing of Matis Bot. Fellin finished just behind Summaria on six, going 6-0, 6-1 to put the Waves up 3-0 in preparation for the clinch point.

Den Ouden delivered the final blow on court two, but not after a competitive second set as he and Watt went game for game until the fourth point. Guy went up 5-4 and never looked back, earning the clinch point for Pepperdine at 4-0.
