RECAP
In an electric match from start to finish, the Waves and Cougars began play in doubles. A late push on courts two and three weren't enough to earn the doubles point, however, as BYU took courts one and two to put them up 1-0 on the afternoon.
In singles, freshman
Guy Den Ouden took charge against BYU's Jack Barnett on court two, fighting the Cougar off and extending his leads in both sets at 6-4, 6-4 to put Pepperdine on the board. After a stumble on court one, BYU led at 2-1 for a split second until
Pietro Fellin dominated Matheus Leite on court six, going 6-4, 6-3 for a 2-all score.
Undefeated
Tim Zeitvogel swooped in after Fellin's win, going 6-2, 6-4 over Sam Tullis for his seventh-straight win of the dual season.
Junior
Daniel De Jonge completed the Waves win on court four, winning straight at 6-3 but needing an extra game to put Ben Gajardo to rest at 7-5.
