RECAP
The Waves began their Sunday matinee in doubles as per usual, seeing wins on courts one and two. Two finished first, as
Tim Zeitvogel and
Corrado Summaria went for a 6-3 win to set up the clinch point on court one. The #82 pair of
Adrian Oetzbach and
Guy Den Ouden lived up to their hype and defeated their Bulldog opponents 6-2 to earn the first team point for Pepperdine.
In singles, Zeitvogel took no time in earning his sixth-straight win of the season at 6-1, 6-4, adding to a streak that dates back to March of 2019. Den Ouden followed suit at 6-4, 6-4 on court two, putting the overall score at 3-0.
After a shortfall on court one, De Jonge put the Zags to rest on court three, 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 to clinch the match for the Waves at 4-1 and put another "W" in the Pepperdine scorebook.
