RECAP

Like all rivalry games, Pepperdine and LMU hung together for the first few moments, but then the Waves pulled ahead at the break on courts one and two. Adrian Oetzbach and Guy Den Ouden showed why they were the No. 62 doubles team in the nation by pulling ahead to win 6-3. From there, Zeitvogel and Corrado Summaria sealed the deal on court two with a 6-2 win.

As it was in doubles, everything came up Pepperdine in singles. On court two, Den Ouden cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win, which opened up the floodgates for the Waves. Summaria then won on court five with a 6-2, 6-3 victory. In short succession, Zeitvogel clinched on court four, then #52 Oetzbach won on court one — both with 6-2, 6-2 wins.

At the match's conclusion, Daniel De Jonge was on the heels of storming back down 3-4 to win 7-6 in the first set. Over on court six, Pietro Fellin was up 6-4, 3-1.
