RECAP
The Wolverines started the match off strong with Alyvia and Cerdan defeating #55 ranked Faillia and Iamachkine on court one. Lahey and Olsen earned a win on court two over Pairone and Lommer, to make it an even one and one for both teams. Coming down to the last court, Lorenzini and Craciun bested Kuczer and Zaar to earn Michigan the doubles point.
The Waves came back strong in the singles showing with the first point earned on court three by reshirt senior #35
Jessica Failla going 6-3, 6-2. Freshman
Lisa Zaar followed closely on court four, outlasting ranked-opponent #68 Cerdan, to a 6-3, 6-0 finish.
Next came freshman
Astrid Olsen on court six, with an easy 6-2, 6-2 win over Lorenzini of Michigan.

Ashley Lahey sealed the deal for the Waves on court one. Lahey and Pairone traded points in the second set but in a tiebreaking finish, Lahey earned the clinch with a 6-3, 7-6 result.
