Beginning in doubles, the Waves switched up the lineup but faltered, on courts one and two to relinquish the doubles point to the Sooners.
In singles, #1
Ashley Lahey struck first, winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-4 over #64 Martina Capurro to put Pepperdine even with Oklahoma early on. Freshman #124
Lisa Zaar followed suit, going 6-1, 6-1 over Camila Romero on court five to give the Waves the 2-1 lead.
Pepperdine didn't slow down from there, as #37
Jessica Failla added another point to the Waves' side, beating Carmen Corley 6-2, 6-4 on court two before a loss on court six.
Astrid Olsen snatched the clinch point from Marcelina Podlinska on court four after a stress-inducing first set seeing a tie-break where Olsen eventually came out on top 7-6(8), 6-2 to claim the match for the Waves at 4-2.

Anastasia Iamachkine saw a belated win after the clinch point as she defeated Marceline Podlinska in two tie-breaks, going 7-6(7), 5-7, 10-4 to put the final score at 5-2.
