MALIBU, Calif. – After a week off from play, the Pepperdine men's tennis team will host UCSB in a 2 p.m. Sunday matinee at Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center.

SCOUTING THE GAUCHOS
Currently standing 1-3, UCSB will travel to LMU for a matchup with the Lions on Saturday before heading to Malibu. The Gauchos have one ranked singles player in #8 Joseph Guillin, who won the 2019 ITA Southwest Regional hosted by Pepperdine.
UCSB has recorded losses at Oregon and Washington and against West Coast Conference member Santa Clara- who Pepperdine defeated 5-0 two weeks prior.
CATCHING THE WAVES
Pepperdine comes off of a bye week after going 3-0 in their opening weekend with wins over West Coast Conference opponents Santa Clara (5-0) and San Francisco (4-2). The Waves also posted a 7-0 blanking of Sacramento State to complete the weekend.
Sophomore
Tim Zeitvogel went undefeated on the weekend, winning 6-1, 6-2 at the No. 4 position over SCU's Mann Shah, a No. 3 7-5, 6-1 win over USF's Huynh and won 6-2, 6-2 over Sac State's Josh Snowdon-Poole at the No. 2 position.
