RECAP
The Waves senior took no time in crowning herself champion, defeating UCLA's #9 Jada Hart in straight sets. Beside a little back and forth at the beginning of the first, Lahey left Hart in the dust, winning set one on Hart net ball.
The second set was all Lahey, as she allowed no points from her opponent. After five four consecutive points from the #14 Lahey, Hart sent Lahey's final serve into the fence to end the match.
The championship is the first under Lahey and Pepperdine's belt, as the tournament has only existed for five years.
UP NEXT
