MALIBU, Calif. – Pepperdine men's tennis heads to Westwood, Calif. on Tuesday to take on a tough opponent in No. 13 UCLA.

SERIES VS UCLA: The No. 13 Bruins are 48-16 all-time over the Waves, as 34 of those wins have come in Westwood. UCLA has only recorded four losses on the season by the likes of Illinois, Wake Forest, TCU and USC. The Bruins have also defeated West Coast Conference powerhouse San Diego and PCH Cup rival Loyola Marymount.
LAST TIME OUT: The Waves split their road trip in the Pacific Northwest, dropping a 4-3 heartbreaker to Gonzaga on Friday and defeating Portland 5-2 on Saturday.

Pawel Jankowiak secured the doubles point for the Waves in extra points, going 7-5 and 7-6 but were eventually defeated in singles. Every match was played to completion in the nail-biter.
Pepperdine flipped the switch on Saturday, however, where the same doubles tandems grabbed the doubles point and Sborowitz clinched the match 6-4, 6-4 for the Waves in singles play, going 4-1 overall. All matches were played to completion, as only three courts were playable at a time, making the eventual final score 5-2.
NEXT UP: After taking on UCLA, the Waves will stay home for the week, inviting BYU and San Diego to the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center on Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. respectively.
