PALO ALTO, California – The Pepperdine women's golf team is in 15th place following Saturday's second round at the Stanford Intercollegiate.
The Waves have a two-day total of 595 (293-302) at the par-71 Stanford Golf Course. The tournament boasts an impressive field and the seven of the top nine teams are all from the Pac-12.
PLAYER SCORES
- Junior Megan Dennis (Bedfordshire, United Kingdom/Florida Tech) is tied for 47th place at 148 (73-75). He second round included two birdies.
- Senior Momoka Kobori (Rangiora, New Zealand) is tied for 54th at 149 (70-79). She had one birdie on Saturday.
- Freshman Alexa Melton (Covina, Calif./South Hills HS) is tied for 61st at 150 (73-77). She had one birdie today.
- Freshman Reese Guzman (Kahului, Hawai'i/Maui HS) had the Waves' best round today with a 74, which included five birdies. She is tied for 69th at 151 (77-74).
- Sophomore Sifan He (Shanghai, China) is tied for 86th at 159 (83-76). She had four birdies today, all of which came in a five-hole stretch on the front nine.
UP NEXT
Sunday will mark the final round of the Waves' fall season. Pepperdine will be paired with Iowa State and Northwestern and the teams will tee off with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
