#14 Lahey Advances to ITA All-American Semifinals

TULSA, Okla. – No. 14 Ashley Lahey of the Pepperdine women's tennis team continued her run into the 2019 ITA All-American Championships semifinals as she accrued two high-power wins on Friday afternoon.

RECAP
The 14th-ranked player in Pepperdine's Ashley Lahey took no time in advancing through two rounds on Friday afternoon as she rolled through the round of 16 and quarterfinals.
 
First on Lahey's plate was the #35 Georgia Drummy of Vanderbilt, who Lahey defeated 6-3, 6-3 to move on and meet Pennsylvania's #63 Iuliia Bryzgalova in the tournament quarterfinals. Much like the previous, Lahey beat Bryzgalova 6-3, 6-4 and earned a spot in Saturday's semifinal rounds.
 
There, she will take on the winner of Duke's Chloe Beck and #16 Elysia Bolton of UCLA. Match times are still to be determined.
