GT countered with a three-set win on one and continued with another three-set win on four to gain the lead.
#17 Lahey battled back from a 7-6 (6) first set loss on two to win her second set 7-6 (4). She then downed #60 Kenya Jones with a 6-3 third set win to tie the match and put all eyes on court six.
