
#10 Waves Win 7th-Straight WCC Regular Season Title

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. " After a dominating 7-0 sweep over San Francisco at the California Tennis Club on Friday afternoon, the 10th-ranked Pepperdine women's tennis team won the seventh-consecutive West Coast Conference regular season title.
The Waves have gone 8-0 in WCC action with one match left tomorrow, while producing a 19-2 record on the season thus far.

With the 1-0 advantage heading into singles, Pepperdine did not let up, collecting two set wins on all six courts in a clinch, finish set up. No. 25 Luisa Stefani opened the action with a 6-2, 6-0 win on court one over Emily Maxfield and Milovanovic followed with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Dos Santos in the No. 5 position to put the Waves one step closer to the clinch.
No. 19 Mayar Sherif would do the honors as she downed Anna Sokiran with a 6-0, 6-2 win on court two. Levashova, Gulbe and Lekaj all followed suit with two set wins on courts three, four and six respectively to secure the WCC regular season title and the Waves' 7-0 win.
