Pepperdine Coach
Robert Radnoti said: "It was a great day for racing. We came into the competition hoping to run strong, but altitude affects everyone a little bit different. We had a setback on the men's side when two of our athletes were disqualified. The officials said they and a couple of other runners took three steps outside the white line. We're learning about resiliency and we'll pop back in a couple of weeks and be ready for the regional in Sacramento. Today was a little bit disappointing but it was a learning experience for all of our athletes and coaches. I'm proud of our men and women and coaches for how hard they are working."
