"Dartmouth does a great job and they play a little bit of a different system," said Head Coach Tim Ward. "We saw their result against Long Beach State (1-0 loss) and know how tough a place that is to go play, so we knew they were going to be good. We just played really well today. That's one of the most complete performances from start to finish that we've had this year. I thought that everyone who stepped on the field for us today did a great job."
"It couldn't always be Bri Visalli and Devyn Gilfoy scoring, we need other people to step up as well, so it was great to see Brie Welch and Calista Reyes get their first goals," said Ward. "That's what they're here to do and it doesn't surprise me that they got on the scoresheet, but it's really fun to get your first collegiate goal. And they were both things of beauty, so we're really proud of them."
