"Better overall performance today from the Waves," said Head Coach Tim Ward. "I'm really proud of our girls' response after Friday's OT loss against what we feel is an NCAA tournament type team. Our ability to keep the ball and find some kind of rhythm was much improved. Also, it's great to see Welch and Devyn, two freshmen, connect for a really good goal. Overall, we're really proud of all the performances and the leadership from our returners."
