Waves Finish ITA Regionals As Runners-Up

MALIBU, Calif. - Seniors Lautaro Pane and Pedro Iamachkine of the Pepperdine men's tennis finished as runners-up in the ITA Southwest Regional Championships doubles draw on Monday afternoon at Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center. Benjamin Hannestad and Tim Ruehl of Arizona State came away with the title.
Iamachkine and Pane came out strong, winning the first three games of the match, before the pairing from ASU was able to come back and take the first set. In the second and final set, the Sun Devils would not let up, taking the match by a score of 6-4, 6-3.
