Rain, Fog Delay Golfers at Primland Collegiate Invitational

MEADOWS OF DAN, Va. " Darkness set in before teams could finish Monday's second round of the Primland Collegiate Invitational, where the Pepperdine men's golf team currently stands in fourth place with a score of 6-under.
The Waves shot a 2-over 290 during Monday morning's first round at the par-72 Highland Course at Primland. According to Golfstat, the Waves are currently 8-under during the second round and have completed between 12 and 15 holes.
Play got off to a late start today due to rain and fog. Teams will finish the second round beginning at 9:15 a.m. ET on Tuesday, and the third round may be shortened to nine holes.
Junior Robbie Geibel (Pembroke Pines, Fla./American Heritage HS/Louisville) is tied for fifth place with a score of 5-under. He had five birdies while recording a 3-under 69 in the morning.
Junior Cody McManus (Phoenix, Ariz./Desert Vista HS) is in 11th place at 1-under, freshman Sahith Theegala (Chino Hills, Calif./Diamond Bar HS) is tied for 12th at even-par, sophomore Anthony Cecere is tied for 20th at 1-over and senior Frederick Wedel (The Woodlands, Texas/The Woodlands HS) is tied for 27th at 3-over.
Four of the five Waves currently show below-par scores during the second round, and the other is at even-par.
