Final Results

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Marissa Chow earned her fourth top 10 finish of the season on Tuesday as the Pepperdine women's golf wound up with a ninth-place result at the UC Irvine Invitational.

The Waves finished with a two-day total of 894 (293-302-299) at the par-72 Santa Ana Country Club. Pepperdine was part of an impressive field that included seven top-25 teams, and the #20 Waves earned a head-to-head victory against #5 Stanford.

Chow (Honolulu, Hawaii/Iolani HS), a junior who was an All-American a year ago, tied for seventh place with an even-par 216 (73-70-73). Her 1-over on Tuesday included one birdie and 15 pars.

Senior Alina Ching (Honolulu, Hawaii/Punahou School) tied for 30th place at 223 (71-77-75), freshman Tatiana Wijaya (Jakarta, Indonesia) tied for 42nd at 228 (75-80-73), freshman Katherine Zhu (Vancouver, B.C.) tied for 51st at 230 (74-75-81) and sophomore Alessandra Arza (Asuncion, Paraguay) tied for 62nd at 236 (78-80-78). Wijaya had a team-high three birdies on the day.

Pepperdine next co-hosts the annual Bruin Wave Invitational with UCLA next Monday and Tuesday (March 2-3) at El Caballero Country Club in Tarzana, Calif.
