MALIBU, Calif. - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America released its All-Region teams this week and Pepperdine's Bri Visalli and Hailey Harbison were both named to the West Region's third team.
Visalli and Harbison also earned All-WCC honors earlier this year, with Visalli being named to the conference's first team and Harbison earning second-team honors.
Visalli (San Jose, Calif./Valley Christian HS) was the Waves' leading scorer this season, posting four goals on a team-high 39 shots. Two of her strikes were game-winners this year which was also a team-high in that category. The sophomore midfielder earned All-WCC honorable mention last year and has already earned WCC All-Academic first team honors this season.
Harbison, last year's WCC Freshman of the Year and all-conference honorable mention honoree, contributed both defensively and on the attack this season for the Waves. The sophomore standout scored one goal and notched one assist, getting starts at both outside defender and forward this year. Harbison started all 17 games she played in this season.
It is the fifth straight year that Pepperdine has had multiple players honored on the NSCAA All-West Region team.
