Malibu, Calif. - Team Blue swept the Blue & Orange World Series on Saturday afternoon with a 5-2 victory, scoring four runs in the seventh inning for the win.

Blue started the scoring in the second when Manny Jefferson singled in Brad Anderson who led off the inning with a single off starter Ryan Wilson. The freshman lefthander threw 6 innings allowing only one run and five hits for Orange.

Orange took the lead in the sixth after Chase Lambert reached on an error and Hutton Moyer walked to put runners on first and third. Moyer stole second and Lambert scored when the ball went into centerfield. Jack Ross drove in Moyer with a booming triple to right-center for a 2-1 lead.

Blue took the lead for good off Orange reliever Nick Wojtysiak in the seventh. Jordan Qsar's infield single plated Jefferson, who previously walked to get on base, to tie the game. Brandon Caruso gave Blue the lead with a single to left, scoring Matt Crowder. Nick Costello drove in the last two runs with a single to left.

Jeremy Erisman started for Blue and threw four shutout innings. Freshman Max Gamboa got the win in relief. Gamboa threw four innings giving up one earned run, while striking out three. George Alamillo threw a perfect ninth to preserve the victory.

The final two games of the series will still be played. Jackson McClelland (O) and A.J. Puckett (B) will face off at 1pm on Sunday in a game one rematch. Game five will conclude the series on Tuesday at 2:30pm. Chandler Blanchard (O) and Kiko Garcia (B) are the scheduled starters.
