MALIBU, Calif. - Two members of the Pepperdine baseball team earned all-WCC awards with one on the honorable mentions list and one on the all-freshman team, the conference announced Tuesday.

Nick Upstill (Huntington Beach, Calif.) earned a spot on the honorable mentions while freshman infielder
Danny Cook (Monument, Colo.) was one of 10 named to the all-freshman team.

Throughout the year, Upstill led the Waves offensively while committing no errors on the defensive side of the ball in left field. Batting .345, the Huntington Beach native led Pepperdine with 59 hits, including a team-high 11 doubles.

Right behind Upstill, Cook finished the year with a .288 batting average, playing in 41 games throughout the season, second on the squad in RBIs with 21.
