Round 2 Results 
AUSTIN, Texas - Freshman
Somin Lee moved up into a tie for 13th place to lead the Pepperdine women's golf team during its second round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational on Tuesday. As a team, the Waves improved two spots into fifth place.
The Waves have shot 596 (297-299) over two days at the par-72 University of Texas Golf Club. They were only one of three schools to break 300 during the second round. The third and final round is on Wednesday (Nov. 2).
Lee (Denver, Colo./Overland HS) began the day tied for 26th place but split that in half with a 1-over 73. She is tied with six other players with a 3-over 147 (74-73). Lee had a team-best four birdies during her round.
Sophomore Grace Na (Alameda, Calif./Alameda HS) is tied for 23rd place at 149 (73-76), freshman Alina Ching (Honolulu, Hawaii/Punahou School) is tied for 28th place at 150 (77-73), senior Kaitlin Drolson (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Torrey Pines HS) is tied for 33rd place at 151 (73-78) and sophomore Liv Cheng (Auckland, New Zealand) is tied for 46th place at 154 (77-77). Each of the four players had two birdies on the day.
This is the final fall tournament for Pepperdine.
