Round 1 Results 
AUSTIN, Texas - The Pepperdine women's golf team began play at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational on Monday and the Waves are tied for seventh place after the first round.
Pepperdine shot a 297 at the par-72 University of Texas Golf Club and is tied with Iowa. The second and third rounds are on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
Senior Kaitlin Drolson (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Torrey Pines HS) and sophomore Grace Na (Alameda, Calif./Alameda HS) are both tied for 22nd place after shooting 1-over 73s.
Freshman Somin Lee (Denver, Colo./Overland HS) is tied for 26th at 74, while sophomore Liv Cheng (Auckland, New Zealand) and freshman Alina Ching (Honolulu, Hawaii/Punahou School) are both tied for 50th place at 77.
Na and Lee both posted team highs of three birdies apiece, while Drolson had two.
This is the final fall tournament for Pepperdine.
