Pepperdine Tops Cal, 5-2, Sunday Afternoon In Berkeley

Berkeley, Calif. - The 19th-ranked Pepperdine men's tennis team completed a successful weekend in the Bay Area as it defeated No. 31 California, 5-2, Sunday afternoon at the Hellman Tennis Center. With the win the Waves improve to 10-2 overall while the Golden Bears slipped to 5-6 overall.

Pepperdine captured the doubles point as it won at No. 1 and 2.

In singles play, the Waves notched four victories as Scott Doerner, Pedro Rico and Jonas Berg all recorded wins.

Pepperdine returns to the courts on Wednesday when it hosts Miami at the Ralphs-Straus Tennis Center beginning at 1 p.m.
